Carolyn was born on December 22, 1955 to Ken and Phyllis Calderwood in Fontana, CA. Her family later moved to Ridgecrest, CA, where she attended Burroughs High School and graduated with honors in 1974. She was actively a part of the Ridgecrest Church of the Nazarene, where she married her sweetheart Michael Cash in 1975. Many adventures were enjoyed together with their church family, and they began a family of their own in 1977. Carolyn and Mike were blessed throughout their 35 years of marriage with four children. They spent time with their children and grandchildren as much as possible, visiting whenever they could. Carolyn continued to be very involved in church activities: worship team, dance team, leading Bible studies with her husband, and singing with the Nazarene Women’s Chorale.
