"A FAMOUS DON HAS DIED

Fingerprints found at the scene where those of God! It's just been confirmed that an extremely important DON has died, although not a worldwide famous celebrity, he is famous in the hearts of the many, whose lives he touched within his lifetime. It is reported that On Sunday April 3, 2011, a 37 year resident of the Yuba~Sutter, California area.  Donald A. Abreu laid his head in the lap of Jesus and peacefully went home to our precious Lord. He was a loving, devoted Husband, Father & Grandfather as well as an amazing Uncle, Brother, Friend & Neighbor. He was famous for his gift of graciousness & generosity of time. Some of his most famous traits were the ability to make anyone who crossed his path feel welcomed & comfortable as well as the gift to see goodness in everyone that crossed his path. He was a humble, loving, kind, thoughtful, humorous, generous man, whom I personally nicknamed "The Donutman" after the song, because, it reminded me of his character and how he would give all that he had until there was nothing left but the donut hole. He won’t be in the headlines of the newspaper however, not because he wasn't important but, because he was too important and there wouldn't be enough room to report how he touched the lives of those he crossed paths with, he judged no one and loved everyone. He will be greatly missed & always remembered in the hearts of all those who knew him.  Famous "Don" would want you to... Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts and be thankful for the time you were able to spend with him, he loved & cherished each and every one of you. Even though his heart belonged to Jesus it was so big that it held a place for each of you and that is what made him smile & made his life worthwhile.
See you there, until then Take care, hold those you love closer & longer, speak sweeter and give forgiveness you been denying, for tomorrow is not promised.

Because tomorrow is not promised, live each day striving to have ...No Regrets... Only Fond Memories...  Never tire of doing what is good and what is right.

From Pastor Z.:  Don Abreu was a great friend, member of our church – and an avid supporter of “Bikers for Christ”.  He helped many members with bike and trike projects (including me).  Don was “always there – ready to help” with his talents of: welding and wrenching.  He was a “true brother in Christ” who would always give 100% to every project that he was involved in.  He will be missed, and I look forward to spending eternity in Heaven with him, and our other loved ones who have gone on to be with the Lord.

20 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Philipians 1:20-24

27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

John 10:27-29
